Other positions

March 15th, 2009 by webmaster

All of the moves we teach can be done in more than one position, so don’t get too focused on only practicing them face to face. Don’t feel trapped if you are grabbed, focus on the things you can still do!

If he has you by the arms

If he has you by the arms, you can still kick, knee, bite, and yell.

Scoop kick

If he has you by one arm

If he only has one arm you can still
do practically all the moves! Use your other hand to give him an ear slap, eye gouge, follow up with a scoop kick, you name it.

Front bearhug

From a front bearhug you can still knee strike, groin slap (or grab), bite, and yell with your arms pinned. If your arms are free you can also do the ear slap or eye gouge!

Knee strike from a bearhug

Rear bearhug

If he grabs you from behind you can still groin slap (or grab), saw at his hands with your keys, and yell.

Low five from a bearhug

Headlock

From almost any headlock you will still be able to bite, and you can probably also reach his eyes and groin.

Biting

From behind, or from the side

If he is behind you you can still groin slap, or turn and ear slap. Eye gouges, ear slaps, and groin slaps can all be performed on someone standing to your side.
